Intelligent Heat Control regulates airflow temperature 16 times per second. Intuitive airflow senses when hair is between the arms and drops to low airflow when it is not.

A natural straight style with volume

The Airstrait creates a natural straight style while retaining natural volume. The lock feature lets you gently pre-dry hair and create volume from the roots.

Modes and temperatures

What modes does the Dyson Airstrait have?
It has Wet to Dry, Dry and Boost modes. You can straighten from wet, touch up or refresh from dry, or use Boost for maximum styling impact.
What temperatures can I choose?
Wet mode offers 80°C, 100°C and 115°C. Dry mode offers 100°C and 115°C. Boost mode is 130°C.
How is the temperature controlled?
Intelligent Heat Control regulates the airflow temperature 16 times per second.

Everyday use and size

What does the lock feature do?
Sliding the button locks and unlocks the arms. With the arms locked you can gently pre-dry hair and create volume from the roots.
Does it switch off by itself?
After three seconds of inactivity it pauses automatically. Move the machine to restart airflow.
What are the size, weight and warranty?
Item size is 330 x 41 x 41 mm and weight is 998 g. It comes with a 2 year warranty.
